In this particular landscape our primary objective was to create privacy in the pool area and a useable entertainment and cooking space. A 90mm Merbau deck was constructed as a raised entertainment area. To provide privacy and a contrast against the Merbau, a bamboo screen was built from Cypress Pine posts and black bamboo. Bluestone steppers, the lawn area and a Lily Pilly hedge helped to tie all the elements together. Drawing on our clients brief, we were able to establish a design that fulfilled their needs both in terms of looks and functionality.
