A new build on a slopping block left us scratching our heads.  Jake and the team from LBC, along with his designer were quick to offer amazing design ideas that worked with our vision and our family.  Jake’s design, construction  and horticultural skills and knowledge were outstanding. Jake Martin transformed our back garden from a well-used but tired space into a modern area that included paved courtyard, lawn, gardens and new retainer wall. Jake took a personal approach to the landscaping, making recommendations about the design to ensure the end result would meet our needs, be functional and look right in relation to the house. He was very tolerant when we were indecisive and paid particular attention to the design and use of materials for the best result.

Jake and his team recently cleared and transformed a section of our garden by creating a dry riverbed using grades of river pebbles and suitable plants along with decking, walkway and constructed a raised vegetable garden.

In our planning stages Jake was very accommodating while taking a brief of the types of plants we liked and ideas we had, before coming up with a detailed plan for discussion. Once work began the team were punctual, worked hard all day and each night left the work site clean, neat and tidy. While the work was being carried out, Jake was constantly giving us an update on progress.

Jake and his team exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate to recommend them as they have a real passion and enjoyment of their work and its outcome. We have since employed Jake and his team to attend to our garden on a regular basis.
